Part of a regular series of events organized by the Kingston Land Trust (KLT) since 2017, participants converse in Spanish about local environmental and social topics over a meal in Latin American restaurants in Kingston. For this event, we will explore the importance of the narratives of place and identify culturally significant species for the Lenape people and their relevance to the migrating Maya and Q’eqchi’ communities. We'll also talk about urban biodiversity and opportunities to commune with nature in Kingston with Scenic Hudson and the Kingston Land Trust.
